2. How do I transfer my existing domain to ultrapresence.com? [ top ]
Go to our order form and enter the domain you wish to transfer. Select the "Transfer my existing domain" option. Click on submit. The order form will guide you through the process.
The transfer process can take up to 7 days to complete.
During this period you may receive emails from your existing registrar asking you to confirm the transfer, this is a normal security check.
Your transfer fee extends your domain registration by one year and no time is lost when you transfer your domain.
For example, if you have 6 months remaining on your registration when you start the transfer process you will have 1 year and 6 months when you finish the transfere process.

4. Who must approve the transfer of my domain name in order to move my domain to Ultrapresence? [ top ]
On your domain name record, there is listed an Administrative and Technical Contact. Both of these contacts may be the same person, but one of them should be yourself if you own the domain name. It is the Administrative and Technical Contacts who will be notified via e-mail of any changes to the domain name. Only one of them needs to approve the change.

5. How long does it take to transfer my existing domain name to Ultrapresence? [ top ]
This pretty much depends entirely on the Administrative and Technical Contacts, and specifically, how fast they reply to the e-mail sent from Ultrapresence, approving the transfer of the domain name in question. This is the only step in transferring a domain name that can cause a hold up. If the Administrative or Technical Contact sends the authorization back immediately, your domain name could be transferred within 1 to 4 days.
