Flash™ is a multimedia development tool that creates applications that are commonly embedded into web pages, although Flash™ applications can be run as a regular program. Flash's™ power comes from the use of vector graphics which can be scaled to anybody's monitor settings without a loss of quality. Another feature that makes Macromedia's Flash™ popular is the compact size of Flash™ files. The software can deliver stunning graphics through the web by keeping the file sizes relatively small.
Flash™ can also incorporate video clips, image files, sound files, and will import files from other vector programs like Adobe Illustrator™ .

2. Does Flash™ Work on Ultrapresence Servers? [ top ]
Yes, Flash™ does work on Ultrapresence servers. This is the general HTML format that you should have in your page:

You should replace yourflash.swf with the name of your Flash™ application. The width and height can be set to anything you want, although they should keep the same proportion ratio as the original file. For instance, if your original file had dimensions of 800 pixels by 600 pixels, the Flash application could be displayed at 400 pixels by 300 pixels without any loss of quality.

4. How much does it cost to include Flash™ content in my site? [ top ]
Many Flash™ projects are unique, custom built applications. These projects are priced individually based on several factors, including complexity, design goals, backend integration and overall scope.
Other projects are more generic in nature, such as web banners/advertisements, splash page animations, menu systems and maps.
For these simpler projects we have fixed prices that make it simpler for smaller and medium sized companies to utilize Flash™ in their sites.
Flash™ banners/Advertisements – $400 for 2 second animation & no sound. $600 with sound.
Flash™ Splash Page Animations – $150 per running second
Flash™ menu systems – $200 plus $40 for the 6th and up main menu item and $25 for each submenu item.
Flash™ enhanced map – $300 plus $50 for each "hotspot".
Flash™ Actionscript programming – $85 per hour or blocks of 8 hours for $450.
Flash™ Training – $150 per hour. Maximum of 3 participants.
